"GOING
TO BAT TO RETIRE 21"
"GOING TO BAT TO RETIRE 21" is the fundraising arm of the Retire 21 campaign.
In order to continue to build the campaign to Retire 21 we will need to raise
funds to do many of the things that will be necessary to get the message out to
all the right parties.
Besides the ongoing expenses of building the campaign we also want to raise
enough money to purchase newspaper ads in national publications during key
periods like the World Series and during the month of December when Roberto
Clemente lost his life in the fatal airplane crash while taking supplies to the
victims of a deadly hurricane in Nicaragua.
We need to continue to keep the momentum strong by getting the message out as to
the importance of the Retire 21 campaign.
All monies collected will go towards the expenses of the Retire 21 campaign.
Every person who donates any of the amounts suggested will appear in the ad. The
amounts donated will not be mentioned, only the names of the individuals will
appear.
Suggested Amounts (all in intervals of number "21")
$2.10 = Single
$21.00 = Double
$210.00 = Triple
$2,100.00 = Homerun
$21,000.00 = GRAND SLAM

*Donations are Tax Deductible to the extent allowed by law.
*(La Resurrección United Methodist Church is the official fiscal conduit for the
Retire 21 Campaign Funds.)
